Delivering a platform for our inspired local creators, makers and innovators.

We are inspired by the quality, innovation and variety of products and services available from local Surf Coast businesses. So we created a place where you can quickly discover new unique gift ideas, shopping, food and drinks, creative arts, trades and services.

Inspired by Surf Coast is proudly created by the Surf Coast Shire Council with the support of talented and creative local businesses.

Surf Coast Shire Council

Within days of stage 3 stay-at-home restrictions coming into effect due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Council’s Business Support Team set up the BuySurfCoast website to provide an online directory of local businesses and the altered services being offered during the lockdown period.  Inspired by Surf Coast is the next phase of this work to support local businesses.

Fluid

Clifton Daniell, Mike Beck and Sam Milne are three of the team from Fluid, a group of highly creative and collaborative designers, strategists, photographers, writers and artists.

They provided the design and creative ideas for the Inspired by Surf Coast campaign.

Gruff Design

Andrew Ferrie from Gruff Design is providing the grunt to our social media campaign. Gruff is a design & social marketing agency who brand, elevate and connect businesses to their customers.

They’re on a mission to bring the stories of creative entrepreneurs to life with the Surf Coast Creatives podcast.
